Snickers got into a sticky situation on Christmas Eve, but firefighters in Ottawa used some quick thinking to get the wee kitten unstuck.
Ottawa Fire Services retold the Christmas miracle on social media Boxing Day.
It said a mother and daughter showed up at Station 41 with a peculiar predicament.
Their new kitten, Snickers, somehow became lodged behind the glove department of their vehicle.
“Firefighters brought the vehicle into the station and carefully disassembled parts of the dashboard to reach the tiny stowaway,” the fire department explained. “After a delicate extrication from a very tight space, Snickers was safely freed without injury.”

A smiling trio of firefighters posed with the fluff ball after the rescue.
“Just another reminder that our Firefighters are always ready to help, no matter how small the call,” the department said.
